About Modern Active Travel

Modern Active Travel brings together independently owned vacation homes and furnished monthly rooms in one place, so guests can book directly with the people who own and care for them.

Our stays are in Tulum, Mexico; Tagaytay, Philippines; and Vacaville, California — from condo and townhouse stays for a trip away to furnished rooms for longer monthly stays.

Reviewed before they go live

Every listing on this site is reviewed and approved before it is published, and changes go through review again. What you see on a property page is information the owner has provided and we have checked.

How booking works

1. Choose your stay and send a Request to Book with your dates.
2. We check the real calendar or room status and confirm availability with you.
3. If it is available, we email you the total price and a secure payment link.
4. Pay through the link — your booking is confirmed as soon as payment completes.

Nothing is charged when you send a request, and your dates are not reserved until payment is complete.
